Attendance Policy First the Hanyang University attendance policy states that all students who are absent more than 6 times in one semester will automatically fail. This means you fail and I cannot change anything...I am very strict with regards to attendance so it is important that you understand what the rules are.I will mark you late if you are more than 1 minute late. If you come to class more than 15 minutes late you will be marked absent. The reason for this is that it is very rude and disruptive to come to class late. You distract other students who are on time and do not know what is happening in class. If you are for some reason unavoidably late, enter the class quietly and wait until class finishes before informing me that you are late. If you do not see me at the end of class you will be marked absent. Additionally you are students and should consider attending school as your job. If I am late for class or unprepared I will not have a job. The consequences for you include a reduced grade and potentially failing the class. Every class you are late for results in a penalty towards your grade.
